BRAD'S BIO

My career as a counselling therapist is the result of me having been a client myself.

There came a point in my life where I was not behaving as my authentic self, nor living up to my potential, resulting in problems in practically every aspect of my life. This didn’t happen suddenly, but gradually over a decade. With my marriage, career, physical and mental health, I was becoming more aware that things didn’t feel right. It was obvious, although difficult to admit, that in order to live my authentic and best life, I needed professional help.

My successful therapy journey spanned several years and inspired me to make major changes. I learned that positive change happens when you can communicate your true emotions and unburden yourself to a professional, in a safe and non-judgemental place. These changes may come from learning new coping and communication skills or they may simply come from a better understanding of yourself and your behaviours. The help I received from my counselling therapist was life-altering.

I now have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

I help people who are dealing with minor and major life transitions, as well as those who are living with depression, anxiety and substance abuse. These can result from past or present trauma, neglect or feelings of being disconnected from your true self.
